Activities

Vacation Bible School

The church had Vacation Bible School Sunday, June 1st through Wednesday, June 4th. We began each night with a light meal at 5:30 p.m. and continued with classes and activities until 8:00 p.m. All ages, from nursery to adult, were included. The theme was “Clean Water for All God’s Children” centered on the mission project of the Synod of Living Waters called, “Living Waters for the World.” Thanks to all who participated in this wonderful, intergenerational event.

Wednesday Night

Wednesday night program details

A Fellowship Dinner is offered every Wednesday night at 5:45 p.m. from August to late in May.  The dinner is followed by a program or worship at 6:30, which is varied and designed to appeal to many interests.

Holy Week

Holy Week Information, March 17-21

For nearly a half century, we have spearheaded a series of worship services during Holy Week with ministers and lay members of various local churches participating. This is in conjunction with a luncheon, prepared cooperatively, with proceeds dedicated to Meals on Wheels.

Special Events

We traditionally serve regular Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
Throughout the year we observe special occasions, including Christmas Eve and Maundy Thursday services with Communion.
We also participate in the annual Souper Bowl, Joy Offering, and One Great Hour of Sharing.
Our Second Sunday Dinner is a cooperative meal after worship on the second Sunday of each month throughout the year. Students and visitors are warmly invited to participate in this celebration of food and fellowship.

The congregation meets at Cane Creek for picnics, organized by the Christian Education Committee.

Every year before Lent, we have a Mardi Gras program, consisting of a special dinner and performances by the talented (and brave).

Presbyterian Women

The Presbyterian Women's group meets once a month for Bible study and fellowship. They fund a scholarship for a deserving student each year.
