Palm Sunday
On Palm Sunday children participated in
worship by processing with palms and going up front for a children’s
sermon time. Also the Junior Choir sang. During the Sunday school hour
there was a retelling of the Bible story followed by donkey rides in the
church parking lot.
Thank you to
Malcolm Williams for providing a donkey for the children as they reenacted
Sunday’s Bible story.

The following photo was taken from a fellowship dinner at Spankies.

Holy Week
For nearly a half century, we have spearheaded a series of worship services during Holy Week with ministers and lay members of various local churches participating. This is in conjunction with a luncheon, prepared cooperatively, with proceeds dedicated to Meals on Wheels.
Special Events
We traditionally serve regular Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
Throughout the year we observe special occasions, including Christmas Eve and Maundy Thursday services with Communion. We also participate in the annual Souper Bowl, Joy Offering, and One Great Hour of Sharing.
Our Second Sunday Dinner is a cooperative meal after worship on the second Sunday of each month throughout the year. Students and visitors are warmly invited to participate in this celebration of food and fellowship.
The congregation meets at Cane Creek for picnics, organized by the
Christian Education Committee.
Presbyterian Women
The Presbyterian Women's group meets once a month for Bible study and fellowship. They fund a scholarship for a deserving student each year.
