*PRAYER OF CONFESSION
God of love and life, look with
mercy upon us. We ignore truth and avoid justice. We abuse freedom
and shirk responsibility. We forget to celebrate the many gifts you
have showered on us. Forgive us when we think only of ourselves.
Heal us with your love and bring us back to abundant life. Guide us
toward true discipleship and lead us into service that gives life
real meaning. In Christ’s name we pray. Amen.

The lamb will guide them to the water of life.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
*Gloria Patri, P. 579
Glory be to the Father, and to

As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be,
