God of unending love and mercy, though the world changes, your love remains constant. Forgive us when we fall away and choose to follow our own desires. Protect us from the evil that is around us, and the evil that is within us. Help us to devote ourselves to honoring you and caring for our neighbors. Give us the courage to dream and create. Grant us the peace that can only come from accepting the peace of your precious Son. In Christ’s name we pray. Amen.
