What can I do?

We offer a range of service opportunities to help you contribute your time, talents and treasure to our mission. We believe that the best way to make a difference is to be involved and to help those around you. Whether you are looking to become a member or simply want to give back, we welcome you to join us in our mission to serve our community and the world.

Led by our Session Members, who represent each ministry, we work together in bringing order and direction to our activities, while ensuring opportunities for our members to engage, grow, learn, and assist each other. Whether you’re new to faith or have been a member for years, we welcome you to join us.

While all Christians are called to care for persons in need, the ministry of deacons is the light that guides the way. Deacons are a reflection of the heart of Christianity. Deacons are called to model and extend the love of Jesus Christ.

Where would First Presbyterian Church be without the commitment of its volunteers. Their generous support is greatly appreciated.  As seen throughout scripture, we can confidently declare that God’s heart is for serving others, and He designed us to have that same fervor.

First Presbyterian Church has been dedicated to helping our community for over 100 years. We are always seeking funding to support our mission, and we rely on donations to keep our doors open. Our building is regularly maintained and upgraded to ensure that it continues to be a safe and welcoming place for all who visit. We also allocate funds for utilities, special missions, and a devoted staff who share our commitment to making a difference. If you are interested in learning more, or would like to make a contribution, please reach out to us today.

We are a community devoted to prayer and seeking God's will. We believe that God's grace is available to us all, and it is only through His wisdom that we can find the direction we need. We believe the Word of God is living and powerful, and it has the ability to transform lives. Your prayers are a welcome and necessary part of our mission.
